Just a few examples of what you can do with the chord_files.

Set the key and start
with ‘Main chords’.

You may start with any chord and create progressions freely
within this section.

CM – GM – Am – FM
  I   –   V   –  vi  –   IV

You can compose a melody or embellish the chords using the advance chord/scale diagrams on the back side.

Add a secondary dominant.

If you wish to add a secondary dominant, move up from any chord from the ‘Main chords’ section to any of the chords above.
The arrow then indicates which chord is to be followed by the selected chord.

CM – B7  –  Em  –  G
  I   –  V/iii  – iii   –   V

Add modal interchange.

If you wish to add chords from the parallel minor key move down from the main scale degrees (I, IV, or V) from the section ‘Main chords’ to any of the chords below.
